| DESCRIPTION | A charming little character that has a black body covered in tufts of ginger and white hairs. The most striking feature is the white upper surface to several segments of the rear giving this caterpillar a resemblance to a bird dropping when viewed from a distance. |
| FOODPLANT | Mainly nettles and occasionally various garden plants. Usually found on Hops in days gone by. |
