FRUIT BODY 1 - 6cm irregular cup shaped fruiting body with a bright yellow outer surface that turns blue and a deeper orange inner surface that also bruises blue. Margin slightly incurved at first but becoming expanded.

FLESH Brittle with no distinct aroma.
SPORES Hyaline, smooth, globose with thin walls.
HABITAT Usually in groups in wet boggy areas.
SEASON Infrequent.  Spring to early summer.
EDIBILITY Inedible.r
