CAP 4-20mm in diameter. Kidney to shell shaped with irregular lobing developing with age. The ivory white upper surface is finely tomentose with occasional grooving. The margin of the cap is sometimes slightly inrolled.
STIPE Absent.
GILLS/PORES Gills start whitish becoming pinkish buff. Distant.
FLESH Thin and white with no specific taste or smell.
SPORES Pale yellow, sub-globose to ovoid with short spines.
HABITAT In layered groups on twigs and branches on the woodland floor.
SEASON Common.  Autumn to mid winter.
EDIBILITY Inedible. r
