CAP 3 - 7 cm.  White through to grey-brown or a mixture of both and becoming marked with black.  Glutinous.
STIPE White streaked with brownish lines and possessing a yellowish base.  When young prone to exuding red droplets.
GILLS/PORES White becoming greyish and eventually darker.  Widely spaced and decurrent.
FLESH White but reddening throughout and eventually becoming black.
SPORES Blackish, subfusiform.
HABITAT In small loose groups under Larch.
SEASON Occassional.  Late summer to autumn.
EDIBILITY Edible but not recommended. a
