FRUIT BODY 0.5 -6cm wide (per patch).  An encrusting resupinate fungus that starts of white, turns creamy to bright yellow and finally becomes brown with age. The surface is uneven and slightly warted.

FLESH Thin, starting soft becoming tougher.
SPORES Hyaline, broadly ellipsoid, uniseriate with 16 in each ascus.
HABITAT Usually on the underside of old Piptoporus brackets.
SEASON Frequent.  Throughout the year.
EDIBILITY Inedible. r
