DESCRIPTION Quite a common species that causes unsightly patches of purple, yellow and black on various Mahonia species.  On the underside can be found  several brown powdery pustules.
SPORES Clavate to spheropedunculate, with punctate walls.
HABITAT On leaves of various Mahonia species.
SEASON Common. Can be seen all year round.
