DESCRIPTION The aecia are found in one or two straight lines running along the stems of the host and are golden yellow, erumpent and with a purple edge.
SPORES

Aeciospores angular to sub-ovoid with spaced out minute spines.

HABITAT This stage is found on the stems of various Rubus species.
SEASON Common. February to November.
