DESCRIPTION This rust fungus can be quite prolific on its chosen host and is quite noticeable against the green foliag. Bright orange and powdery this species prefers the leaf edges or inner ribs to grow on. This rust fungus can reduce the survival of the host plants seedlings by quite a large percentage.
SPORES Globose to sub-globose, spiny, pale yellow. (Link)
HABITAT On Meadowsweet leaves.
SEASON Common. May to July.
