A resupinate encrusting fruitbody with numerous crowded teeth projecting from the lower surface. These teeth start off white and becoming more creamy-yellow with age.

FLESH White and rubbery with a sweet, soapy fragrance.

HABITAT In horizontal clusters on mainly beech trees.
SEASON Rare.  Autumn to spring.
EDIBILITY Inedible. r
