CAP 1-5cm in diameter.  Kidney-shaped.  Olive to brownish.  Covered with an elastic gelatinous layer.  Extremely sticky and shiny in wet weather.
STIPE Lateral or rudimentary.
GILLS/PORES Gills are pale yellow to orange yellow.  Close.
FLESH Thick with no distinct smell or taste.
SPORES White, cylindric.
HABITAT In clusters on dead and living broadleaf trees.
SEASON Occasional.  Autumn to early winter.
EDIBILITY Inedible. r
