| FRUIT BODY | 10 - 25cm in diameter. Thick fan-shaped bracket with a slightly hairy, pale upper surface that is zoned and markedly uneven. Uusually has a greenish tint due to algal growth. |
| GILLS/PORES | The pores are slot-like and start off white becoming cream coloured. |
