3-5cm in diameter. Yellow to orange-brown starting
domed with powdery granules covering the surface becoming flattened with
wavy edges with no granular covering. The surface dries paler and
the edges have a tattered appearance. Often radially wrinkled. |

The stem is equal and has an easily removed ring.
Brownish in colour with yellowish granules covering the lower part. |

Gills are creamy white, crowded and adnate. |

White becoming yellowish with smell of freshly mown hay. |
