| DESCRIPTION | Length 7 - 10mm. A fast moving insect with a nice tawny colour throughout. Wings of adults extend to the tip of the abdomen. Flattish in appearance. |
| BEHAVIOUR | A nocturnal species that is omnivorous and has a 2-year life cycle. Attracted to moth traps. Both sexes can fly. |
| DISTRIBUTION | Local in southern Britain. |
| HABITAT | Mainly found in low growing vegetation in heathland, downland, woodland, coastal cliffs and dune systems. |
| PERIOD | Adults can be seen June to October. |
