| DESCRIPTION |
Up to 9mm this small shieldbug is almost always found within a small colony on the foodplant. A small creature with a magenta colour throughout with a green to bronze sheen. The triangular bronze patch at the base of the scutellum is distinctive. |
| BEHAVIOUR |
Usually seen on leaves of foodplant and occassionally on White Dead Nettle. |
| DISTRIBUTION |
Common in southern and central England and southern Wales. |
| HABITAT |
Hedgerows and woodland edges or wherever foodplant is abundant. |
| PERIOD |
May to September. |
