DESCRIPTION
Irregular spherical green or red growths found on the upperside of Acer leaves. Large infestations cause high leaf loss. Caused by the gall mite Aculodes cephaloneus.
DISTRIBUTION Common throughout.
HABITAT On sycamore and field maple leaves.
