| DESCRIPTION:        Irregular spherical green or red growths found on the upperside of Acer leaves. Large infestations cause considerably high leaf loss. Caused by the gall mite Aculodes cephaloneus. DISTRIBUTION: Common throughout. HABITAT: On sycamore and field maple leaves.
