DESCRIPTION Foliose. Yellow-green in appearance covered with many, narrow lobes. The underside is dark brown. Commonly fertile with brown discs that have thin, wavy margins.
DISTRIBUTION Common especially upland regions.
HABITAT On exposed, siliceous rocks, on walls or roofs, exceptionally on sandstone rocks, once found on dust-enriched bark.
