| DESCRIPTION | Height up to 15cm tall. A very distinctive plant with rounded, fleshy leaves that have a somewhat depressed centre. The flowers spikes have a red stem bearing numerous greenish bell-shaped flowers. The leaves are edible. |
| DISTRIBUTION | Mainly western Britain. |
| HABITAT | Dry stone walls and stony banks. Quite often in shady areas. |
| FLOWERING TIME | June to August. |
