| DESCRIPTION | 6cm in diameter and up to 3cm high. The outer shell is conical (more so in specimens higher up the shore) and is greyish-white in colour with a very rough surface. The muscular foot within the shell is yellowish-brown with greenish-yellow tints. Firmly attached to rocks where when removed it leaves 'scars'. |
