DESCRIPTION The carapace length can reach up to 40cm making this common crustacean quite an impressive catch.  The body is a dark blue with variable sandy flecks.  
DISTRIBUTION Common around all coasts. 
HABITAT Crevices and small caves in deep water although smaller specimens can be found at low tide in rock pools.
BEST TIME TO SEE All year round.
